Missing Carp Diary Contest Winners

We wondered what happened to Ivar's carp when it dove off the deck during the Rogue Wave storm on October 28, and more than 100 people sent us entries in Ivar's Missing Carp Diary Contest. The entries were so good that we awarded everyone a certificate and gift certificates, and selected four big winners.

Michael Konkol and Tammy Brown won the grand prize of fish and chips and chowder for a year for their 20-panel comic (click here to see the comic). They donated their prize to NorthWest Harvest.

The Moriarty Family won the Family prize for their submission of a paper carp and poem.

Angela O'Donoghue won the Verse Prize for her poem.

And Moe Lance won the worst pun award for his story.

All entries and winners are on display in a book at the Mukilteo Fish Bar, and will also be displayed in a book when the Mukilteo restaurant re-opens.
